Montreal: The Indo-British tennis pair of Leander Paes and Andy Murray were ousted from the $3,587,490 Canadian Open as they suffered a straight-game men's doubles second round defeat here.

Murray's elder brother Jamie Murray and Australian John Peers, the seventh seeds, defeated them 6-4, 7-6(9) in an hour and 17 minutes at the outdoor hard courts of the Uniprix Stadium on Thursday.
