Salman Butt, Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Amir will appear before an International Cricket Council (ICC) tribunal later this month to appeal against the provisional bans imposed on them. The hearing will be conducted by ICC Code of Conduct Chairman Michael Beloff.
"The tribunal was scheduled to face them in Dubai, where ICC is headquartered. However, Asif's ban from entry to the UAE has forced it to be moved," an ICC official said.
Theu00a0 hearing will be conducted solely by ICC, and will not involve Scotland Yard or England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). PCB had opposed the involvement of Scotland Yard, after the players returned home without having any charges pressed against them.
"The trio remains suspended under the ICC Anti-Corruption Code. We cannot confirm the date of the hearing. The players will be given a fair trail," the official added.
