Rajan Chedda was made to fight hard in a marathon second game against Ashish Mishra before he prevailed 11-6, 14-16, 11-6 to enter the men's singles main draw of the Rs 11 lakh prize money ISP Squash Carnival, being played at the Khar Gymkhana and Juhu Vile Parle Gymkhana.

Straight wins
Sameer Vora, Karan Mirchandani and Sachin Ugade also made the main draw after scoring straight game wins over their rivals.

In the girls' U-13 final qualifying round, Daksha Pathak's clash with Jaya Pandey was a closely contested affair.
Pathak prevailed 9-11, 11-4, 11-2 to enter the main draw.
