Naveen Kumar settled for a silver in the AIBA Junior World Boxing Championships in Astana, Kazakhstan, after losing to England's Pat McCormack 4:8 in the final of the 50 kg category on Saturday.

Naveen, who had beaten Russia's Dzabrail Vizirkhanov, could not get into his usual rhythm against McCormack. Both boxers opened cautiously, looking to size each other. But it was the English lad who broke the shackles first and took the early advantage.
