Sneha, Nagal enter U-16 tennis tournament final

Maharashtra's Sneha Devi Reddy and Delhi's Sumit Nagal entered the finals of the girls and boys under-16 singles respectively and also set themselves up for double crowns in the Ramesh Desai Memorial Junior (Under 16) Nationals tennis tournament organised by Maharashtra State Lawn Tennis Association (MSLTA), yesterday.
Maharashtra's second seeded Snehadevi Reddy scored a 6-2, 6-4 win over fourth seeded Simran Kaur Sethi to make the girls under-16 final, where she will take on third seeded player Sai Smitha of Tamil Nadu, who scored a facile 6-4, 6-3 win over Aandrita Deb (WB) .
Sneha, partnering Karnataka's Dhruti Venugopal also captured the girls doubles crown, getting past Tahira Bhatti (DLI) and Devanshi Bhimjiyani (Mah) 6-4, 6-3.
Result:
Girls u-16: Sai Samitha (TN) beatu00a0 Deb Aandrita (WB) 6-4, 6-3; Snehadevi Reddy (Mah) beat Sethi Simran Kaur (Dli) 6-2, 6-4.
