The men’s hockey teams from Belgium, Malaysia, South Africa, Argentina, New Zealand, Australia and England touched down at the Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar on January 07 for the FIH Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup 2023. Bhubaneshwar and Rourkela will be hosting the mega event. The tournament will be held from Jan 13 to Jan 29. Odisha CM inaugurated Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium at Rourkela ahead of the World Cup. He also announced Rs 1 Crore to each player if India lifts the title.
