A deadly hillside collapse struck Gaushiya Chawl in Chirag Nagar, Kurla, during the early morning hours, killing seven people and injuring three others after a massive amount of debris crashed onto nearby rooms. The landslide sent rubble onto two to three rooms of the residential chawl, leaving residents trapped beneath the debris and triggering an urgent multi-agency rescue operation. The Mumbai Fire Brigade declared a Level-II emergency as teams rushed to the scene.
