The restaurant's team were awarded the prestigious Wine Spectator Award for the sixth consecutive year and according to the Instagram post below, '2nd year being awarded 2 glasses!'

Vikas Khanna, is an award winning Michelin starred Indian chef, restaurateur, and cookbook writer, filmmaker, humanitarian and the judge of the TV show MasterChef India Season 2, 3, 4 and Masterchef Junior. Based in New York City, he was named in the list of People magazine's Sexiest Men Alive in 2011 and was also referred to as "The Hottest Chef of America."
About Junoon Vikas Khanna started Junoon on Dec 2nd, 2009, in Flatiron district of Manhattan, New York. The restaurant has been awarded a Michelin star by the Michelin Guide for 6 consecutive years since 2010.
According to the restaurant's offcial website, Junoon, named after the Hindi term for passion, "is a contemporary restaurant offering dining experiences to satisfy all aspects of fine cuisine: wine selection, service, ambience and atmosphere."
The website further states that, "the culinary team at Junoon presents a menu of traditional and contemporary Indian cuisine that showcases the centuries of India&rsquo;s culinary history while exploring the future of this classic cuisine."
