The owner of Sion’s iconic Gurukripa restaurant, Vishindas Wadhwa (76) passed away late on Wednesday night.
The restaurant is best known since 1967 for its delicious samosas and chhole tikkis. Gurukripa was shut on Thursday, with a board outside the restaurant reading: “As Vishan Wadhwa has left for his heavenly abode, we will be shut down. Today closed.”
