The pressure of living up to beauty standards is real for actresses in the industry. While some have opened up about going under the knife, a few of them remain tight-lipped about it. In a recent interview, Bhumi Pednekar has shared her thoughts on actors opting for Botox and fillers. She too, was trolled in recent times for getting surgeries done.
In a recent chat with News 18, Bhumi Pednekar shared, "If one wants to opt for fillers, why not? I feel, to each their own. We live in a time where people should make their own choices. I am nobody to have any kind of judgment on what people want to do. I also feel that this is being discussed way too much."
She also opened up about her health regimen and shared her diet. The actress was under scrutiny after she played a heavyweight woman in Dum Laga ke Haisha. Later, she underwent massive weight loss, which surprised everyone and curious about her lifestyle. She shared, "People get very scared of but I have it in my diet - fat. I have a lot of ghee in my diet. The only difference is, I do not cook in ghee; I consume it raw. Put it on your rotis or idlis, it is very beneficial for your health."
On the work front, Bhumi Pednekar most recently appeared in Netflix's The Royals, a romantic dramedy that starred Ishaan Khatter alongside her. The show features an ensemble cast including Zeenat Aman, Dino Morea, Nora Fatehi, Sakshi Tanwar, and others. The series is streaming on Netflix and has been appreciated for its unique approach to romance. She was also in the film Mere Husband Ki Biwi with Arjun Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh.
Up next, Bhumi will appear in Daldal, a gritty web series for Prime Video where she takes on the role of a police officer. The filming has been completed, and fans are now looking forward to the announcement of its official release date. She will also be seen in a project that marks Imran Khans' comeback.
