Aishwarya Rai Bachchan might have hurt her hand and had to wear a white plaster, but she still looked stunning in her Falguni Shane Peacock black and white gown. The gown matched her hand plaster, turning it into an unexpected accessory.
The Miss World 1994 winner has been attending the Film Festival every year since she debuted in 2002 with her film Devdas. This year, she walked the red carpet for the premiere of Francis Ford Coppola's film Megalopolis.
The gown had a corset-style top made of black taffeta with large white puff sleeves. The standout feature of her outfit was the gold accents on the gown. The bust had molten gold detailing, and the train of the gown was decorated with hand-beaten gold flowers.

Some people on the internet were happy to see Aishwarya looking radiant on the red carpet, while others had a different opinion. An online anonymous personality, Diet Sabya, posted Aishwarya's look and the comment section was filled with netizens who thought that the former Miss World was let down by her team.
