Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan celebrate 43 years of marriage

Bollywood's veteran couple Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan complete 43 years of marriage today.

Big B took to Twitter to thank fans and followers for wishes on his wedding anniversary. He shared a picture collage and wrote, "T 2275 - It shall be impossible to thank all that wish us for our wedding Anniversary .. but thank you all.."

Amitabh Bachchan married Jaya on this day 43 years ago in 1973, the same year Amitabh's angry young man image took the nation by storm in ‘Zanjeer'. Their wedding was a hush-hush affair with only a few of close industry friends and family members in attendance.

The two actors have starred in several films together like 'Chupke Chupke', 'Abhimaan', 'Silsila' and 'Sholay', among others. They were last seen together on the big screen in 'Ki and Ka' where they made a special apperance.
