Actors Anushka Ranjan and Aditya Seal, who tied the knot in 2021, have embraced parenthood as they welcomed their twin baby girls on August 23, 2026. The couple took to social media to share the happy news in a joint social media post on Sunday, August 23. Along with the news they also revealed the names of their baby girls.
Anushka Ranjan and Aditya Seal shared an adorable illustrated announcement post which included two baby girls surrounded by flowers, butterflies, birds and a pastel-coloured garden setting. In the post, they also shared that their daughters were named Vira Ranjan Seal and Mahi Ranjan Seal.
The text on the announcement post read, "We are very excited to share the news! Our hearts are full as you welcome our baby girls, Vira Ranjan Seal and Mahi Ranjan Seal. Born on 23.08.2026. Anushka and Aditya." Aditya also captioned the post, writing, "My sunshines are here to brighten our lives Our hearts are full of love and gratitude. Vira Mahi TeamGirl."
The couple had earlier announced their pregnancy in May, starting a new chapter of their lives nearly five years after their wedding. On May 29, 2026, Anushka and Aditya announced that they were expecting their first child through a joint social media post along with pictures from their maternity photoshoot.
Notably, the couple has spoken about their IVF journey previously, where Anushka shared that it was a difficult journey that she and Aditya went through while trying to start a family. She also revealed that she underwent IVF and took around 150 injections during the process.
Actor Akansha Ranjan is also celebrating a special new chapter in her life as she has become an aunt after her sister gave birth to twin girls. The Gram Chikitsalay actress couldn't contain her excitement as she welcomed the two new additions to the family.
Taking to social media, the actor shared a heartwarming post for her nieces and wrote, "Masi's 2 besties are here," followed by, "My Vira and Mahi."
