Exclusive: Raveena Tandon spending her 47th birthday exploring universities for daughter Rasha in the States

Raveena Tandon rings in her birthday today, but this time around the actress is away in the US celebrating with daughter Rasha. Speaking to mid-day.com, the ‘Ankhiyon Se Goli Maare' girl tells us all about what's in store for her special day and what she hopes to achieve in the coming year.

The pre-birthday celebrations begun by attending a concert featuring Dojacat, Shawn Mendes, Maroon 5, Coldplay and other stars. Sharing her experience, Raveena says, "All my daughter Rasha's favourite singers were performing! And it was a treat for both of us. It was a good bonding time for both of us, mom and daughter, and we let our hair down. She's also been studying hard and got super grades and I needed a birthday treat too."

Speaking about plans to ring in her 47th birthday, Raveena says, "My birthday this year is surely going to be a little different in the States. I believe my daughter has been secretly planning a surprise too. We are here exploring universities for her. I will definitely miss my son and my husband. But we will celebrate it back home in Mumbai as well. This year my goal is I want to stay committed to my mental and physical health and always be sincere about my work. "
