The Delhi High Court has granted Tabu interim protection against the unauthorised use of her name, image, voice, and likeness, including through AI and deepfakes. Justice Jyoti Singh directed platforms including Google, Meta, X, and Reddit to remove or block objectionable content linked to the actor. Tabu had alleged that her identity was being misused online through fake booking accounts, merchandise, and manipulated obscene content. The court said such misuse could cause "irreparable harm" to her reputation and identity.
