Taking the Punjabi beat global

Siddhant Chaturvedi has wrapped the UK schedule of Vikas Bahl’s upcoming film, ‘Bolo Bolo Bolo’. Set in 1990s Britain, the film explores the rise of Punjabi music and culture, particularly how young musicians blended traditional sounds with contemporary beats. The movie also stars Alizeh Agnihotri and Jimmy Shergill. Announcing the schedule wrap, the makers wrote, “Before the world found its rhythm, there was a beat waiting to be heard!” The film is slated to release in 2027.

Another round together
