Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan was hospitalised in Ahmedabad on Wednesday after he suffered from heatstroke. With temperatures rising above 40 degrees in several parts of the country, the actor became a victim of the weather. The actor, however, was soon discharged after being treated for heatstroke. Khan's close friend and actor Juhi Chawla also confirmed that Khan is doing much better and will attend the IPL 2024 final in Chennai on Sunday to cheer for their team, KKR (Kolkata Knight Riders).
Talking to News18 on Wednesday, Juhi Chawla said that the actor is much better. The actress along with her husband Jay Mehta were spotted leaving KD hospital in Ahmedabad where Khan was admitted. They didn't interact with reporters and photographers stationed outside the hospital.
As per India Today, Shah Rukh Khan was hospitalised due to dehydration. After receiving primary treatment, he was discharged. He was fine after the match when he reached the ITC Narmada Hotel but his condition worsened in the morning and was taken to the hospital around 1 pm. He is stable now and has been advised by doctors to take adequate rest.

Giving an update on SRK's health, Juhi told News18, "Shah Rukh was not feeling too well last night but he is being attended to and was feeling much better this evening. God willing, he will soon be up, and in the stands on the weekend, cheering the team, as we play the finals". Juhi and Shah Rukh's friendship dates back to the early '90s. The duo has worked together in several films like 'Darr', 'Yes Boss', 'Duplicate' and 'Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani'.
Shah Rukh Khan's wife Gauri Khan was also spotted at KD hospital after he was hospitalised. On Tuesday, Khan was in Ahmedabad for the first qualifier match between his team KKR, and SRH. His team had won the match-fixing their spot in the IPL 2024 finals. Khan was also seen doing a victory lap at the Narendra Modi Stadium along with his daughter Suhana Khan and son AbRam Khan. Actors Ananya Panday and Shanaya Kapoor were also spotted watching the match with SRK and his family.
KKR will face either RR or SRH in Chennai on Sunday for IPL 2024 finals.
