Koffee With Karan is gearing up for its ninth season, and if a leaked list doing the rounds on Reddit is anything to go by, Karan Johar may have lined up an interesting mix of Bollywood stars, young actors, couples and creators for the upcoming season. While the guest list has not been officially confirmed, the names have already triggered considerable buzz among fans.
Karan Johar had earlier confirmed that Koffee With Karan Season 9 will return during Diwali. In an interview with The Week, when asked about the show's comeback, the filmmaker simply replied, 'Diwali. Season 9.'
The show, which last aired in 2024, has completed eight seasons and more than 150 episodes since its debut in 2004. Over the years, it has become known for its candid celebrity conversations, rapid-fire rounds and unexpected revelations.
According to the unverified list circulating on Reddit, the first pairing could see singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh share the couch with Vicky Kaushal. Another episode reportedly brings together Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Farhan Akhtar and Akshaye Khanna, potentially making it one of the more unusual multi-star combinations on the show.
The rumoured list also includes newer faces. Saiyaara stars Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda are said to be among the guests, while Ananya Panday and Shanaya Kapoor could make for another much-discussed episode. Janhvi Kapoor and Lakshya are also reportedly expected to appear together.
Several rumoured pairings involving established stars and celebrity couples could further fuel conversations. Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kajol and Jaya Bachchan are reportedly set to appear together, while Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn could reunite on the couch. Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani are also said to be part of the season.
The list gets even more interesting with South Indian cinema representation. Arjun Reddy and Dear Comrade stars Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are reportedly among the guests, potentially giving viewers a glimpse into one of the industry's most followed celebrity relationships. Kriti Sanon and Varun Dhawan are also rumoured to feature together. Meanwhile, comedian Samay Raina and filmmaker Farah Khan could bring a completely different dynamic to the chat show.
The reported lineup appears to reflect the format changes previously discussed for the ninth season. An April report had said Karan was considering shorter segments, more current conversations and cross-industry pairings involving South stars, OTT actors and creators.
However, fans should note that the Reddit list remains unofficial and unverified. The makers have not announced the Season 9 guest lineup yet. Until an official confirmation arrives, these names should be treated as speculation rather than a confirmed episode list.
If the leaked names eventually materialise, Koffee With Karan 9 could offer a mix of Bollywood veterans, young stars, celebrity couples, South Indian actors and digital creators exactly the kind of varied lineup that could give the long-running chat show a fresh flavour.
