Yash announced last week that his much-awaited film Toxic won't arrive in theatres on June 4. This led to many films rescheduling their release dates and a potential clash. As soon as the news broke, Varun Dhawan announced that Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai will arrive in theatres on June 5. After this, Ram Charan's Peddi makers also announced the same release date. Now, HJTIHH producer Ramesh Taurani has reacted to the clash and revealed if they will again change the release date.

In an exclusive chat with HT City, the producer opened up about the clash and said, "Ab kya kar sakte hain, kuchh nahi. Koi na koi toh aayega hi. There are 52 weeks in a year; someone will clash. It's okay." Reacting to whether he plans to shift the Varun Dhawan starrer's release date, he firmly stated, "Not at all."

About Varun Dhawan's film release

Initially scheduled to hit theatres on June 5, the film's release date went through multiple changes. It was first pushed to June 12 after Yash announced Toxic for a June 4 release to avoid a clash with Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar 2. Later, the makers surprised fans by preponing the release to May 22, weeks ahead of its original date.

However, on April 29, Varun Dhawan dropped a new poster confirming that Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai will now release on June 5, after Yash shared a detailed note on social media announcing that Toxic would no longer arrive on June 4.

The film is especially significant for Varun as it marks another collaboration with his father, veteran filmmaker David Dhawan. It features an ensemble cast including Pooja Hegde, Mrunal Thakur, Mouni Roy, Chunky Panday, Maniesh Paul, Jimmy Shergill, Rakesh Bedi, and Ali Asgar in pivotal roles, among others.

About Peddi release

It was first scheduled to release on March 27, but was then shifted to April 30. Later, the makers announced that it had been pushed further but did not specify a new date. Now, according to 123 Telugu, the makers are planning to release the film on June 4. Written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi stars Ram Charan in the titular role, alongside Shiva Rajkumar, Janhvi Kapoor, Divyendu Sharma, and Jagapathi Babu.
