Word is that Rani Mukerji has begun preparation for her Bollywood comeback. The actress has been hitting the gym and is on a strict diet.

The shoot is slated to start early 2017.

The film Rani Mukerji has signed is backed up by her husband Aditya Chopra and will be directed by Siddarth P Malhotra. Malhotra had earlier directed 2010's 'We Are Family'.

Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra, who had been in a relationship for long, married in April 2014. The couple welcomed their first daughter, Adira, in December 2015.
