Dhurandhar BTS
Ever since December 2025, whenever Indian films are discussed, one name that keeps coming up is Aditya Dhar's Dhurandhar franchise. The makers have decided to turn the film's making, along with all the BTS footage and cast interviews, into a full-length feature film, which will be unveiled as a theatrical release in the last quarter of 2026.
As per a report in Hindustan Times, an insider informed, "The craze for Dhurandhar is so much that the makers have decided to turn even the making of the film into a spectacle. All the BTS footage and cast interviews will be collated into a full-length feature film and unveiled as a theatrical release in the last quarter of 2026, and will eventually make it to the OTT platform on which the films will be streaming."
The source further revealed the reason why the lead cast of the film isn't doing any media interviews yet. "All the major players in the film, including actors Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, and even the director Aditya Dhar, are not doing any media interactions yet because their first interviews will be a part of this BTS film that will directly arrive in theatres. It is a first for any Indian film, and the makers are ensuring that no BTS footage goes out on social media before the release of the film," the source added.
The first instalment released in December, and Dhurandhar 2 was released on March 19 this year. The movie stars Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, Sara Arjun and others.
Talking about the movie's plot, it is based on a covert counter-terrorism operation led by India. It follows an undercover Indian intelligence agent who infiltrates Karachi's criminal syndicates and political power structures in Pakistan in an effort to dismantle a terror network targeting India.
Both the first and second instalments have taken the box office by storm. The Ranveer Singh-led action spectacle has turned into a box-office juggernaut, amassing well over 1700 crore globally and continuing its dream run in several territories.
