Actor Imran Khan's notice directing him to leave India by October 28 has sparked reactions from members of the film industry. Actors Raza Murad and Ashoke Pandit have weighed in on the matter, questioning his participation in the protest despite his citizenship status. Meanwhile, Imran has decided to challenge the notice in the Bombay High Court.

Raza Murad on action against Imran Khan

Speaking to ANI, Raza Murad remarked, "Whether it is Imran Khan or anyone else, no foreign national has any business interfering in the internal affairs of our country. I have only just learned that Imran Khan has become a U.S. national; he was an actor here. As a U.S. national, he has no right to participate so actively in the country's internal affairs or its politics. The Mumbai Police are acting strictly within the legal framework... He has been given a full fifteen days. If he feels he is being treated unfairly or being forced to leave the country, he is welcome to approach the court, and whatever the court decides, we must all accept it... Let's see how he reacts. He has two options: either leave the country by October 28 or, if he does not wish to leave or feels that he has been wronged or treated unjustly, he can take his grievance to the court."

Ashoke Pandit on Imran Khan's notice

As per IANS, Ashoke Pandit has also reacted to the matter and said that he welcomes "the decision taken by the authorities of our country, by the Government of India and the Ministry, to ask him to leave this country. To fight for your rights as an Indian, you have to be an Indian first. And I think this is nothing but an education." Pandit shared that he "got carried away and thought that it's a fun moment for you." He said that Imran Khan doesn't have the right to ask questions. He went on to share that this "is a signal to all those people who are on the streets trying to make a mockery of the law."
