Malaika Arora Khan sports a bridal look on show finale that cost Rs 27 lakh to create

Malaika Arora Khan, one of the judges on reality show The Perfect Bride, will sport a Rs 27 lakh bridal look on the show's finale episode tonight.

The ensemble, styled by designer Rick Roy, features a sari with antique velvet patchwork and is pink and red in colour.

Says Rick, "The sari has thickly frosted Swarovski crystal work that also features old-world sequin work. The blouse features crystals. We've gone in for a vintage, old world look.

The jewellery was made by my family jewellers in Kolkata and includes gold kundan jewellery and also bajubandhs and kamarbandhs.

Money doesn't matter

How much is this look worth and who's footing the bill? Says Rick, "The entire look is worth Rs 27 lakh. I'm doing this at my expense.

Money is no object. Malaika is my muse, my inspiration. Money doesn't matter when it comes to her."

When asked about her look, Malaika messaged back to say that "the channel wanted me to dress bridal. Rick decided the entire look an all-red ensemble.u00a0
