Actor Ranveer Singh is winning hearts online after unseen moments from his cousin Saumya Hingorani's wedding celebrations in Goa surfaced on social media. While Ranveer and wife Deepika Padukone attended the wedding festivities in December last year, fresh photos and videos shared by the wedding photographers have now given fans a glimpse into the actor's fun-filled family side.
The newly shared pictures are from Saumya Hingorani and Samraaj Thackrey's mehendi ceremony, held at Sacri Villa in Goa. In one candid photograph, Ranveer is seen dancing with the bride while dressed in a green kurta-pyjama paired with sunglasses. Saumya, meanwhile, looked radiant in a pink embellished halter-neck gharara for the colourful celebration.
Sharing the photographs, the wedding photographers captioned the post, "The beginning of forever, celebrated through dancing feet, heartfelt laughter, and the timeless beauty of Mehendi traditions."
A video from the festivities also captures Ranveer in high spirits as he dances with family members, hugs his cousin and enjoys the celebrations. The accompanying note read, "An evening wrapped in colour, music, and the warmth of family. At the enchanting Sacri Villa, Goa, Saumya and Samraaj's Mehndi night came alive with joyous celebrations, heartfelt moments, and unforgettable memories."
The post further described Ranveer as Saumya's 'brother', highlighting how the evening was filled with dancing, laughter and memories shared with loved ones.
On the work front, Ranveer Singh is riding high on the blockbuster success of the Dhurandhar franchise. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the action saga follows the journey of Jaskirat Singh Rangi, who transforms into Indian spy Hamza while taking on a terror network operating out of Pakistan.
The franchise also stars Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, Sanjay Dutt and R. Madhavan in pivotal roles. Both films have enjoyed a stellar run at the global box office, cementing Ranveer's return as one of Bollywood's biggest commercial stars.
The actor is now gearing up for Pralay, a post-apocalyptic thriller directed by Jai Mehta, son of filmmaker Hansal Mehta. The film, which also stars Kalyani Priyadarshan, is expected to go on floors later this year and will mark Ranveer's first production venture under his banner, Maa Kasam Films.
