Atlanta rapper T-Hood shot dead at his home, girlfriend says 'I am being attacked'

Rapper Tevin Hood, popularly known as T-Hood, was shot dead at his residence on Saturday. While the police are suspecting homicide, his girlfriend has penned a long emotional note slamming people who are spreading false claims

Tevin Hood - a rapper from Georgia, better known as T-Hood was found dead at his Atlanta residence on the evening of 9th August. The 33-year-old singer was reportedly rushed to hospital after he was shot dead at his home. He was found with multiple gunshot wounds and was heavily bleeding. His girlfriend has penned an emotional note mourning his demise and stating how she has been warned to not talk about anything.

According to reports, T-Hood was shot around 7 pm at his home located in Lee Road in Lilburn, just outside Atlanta. While some reports stated that there was a party going on at his place, his mother denied the claims.

The Gwinnett County police officers responded to reports of a dispute and an investigation into the shooting is currently underway. Authorities say one person was detained in connection with the shooting, and is being interviewed by the police. Cops are looking into the case as a homicide, though the motive for the shooting is unclear.

Kelsie Frost mourns T-Hood's demise

At the time of his death, Hood was in a relationship with Kelsie Frost, daughter of reality television personality Kirk Frost. In an emotional statement shared online, she wrote, "First off I've been advised not to speak up by plenty of parties. I can't sit back and let this narrative being created go on. The love of my life is GONE. the man I lay with and cuddle every single night...is no longer here. so as I want to ask for respect and privacy I won't because I will always defend my baby. I don't condone this sht in anyway shape form or fashion. I am sick to my stomach."

She continued, "I don't wish this on any one. My brain is all over the place, this is a total nightmare but I'm gonna get this off. I don't even have time to grieve or say my respects in the right manner because i am defending myself, being attacked by people who are creating weird and sick rumors, im not good at talking but I would love to give insight and let the people who love him in, to get understanding...l don't have the right words but I wanna keep typing while also respecting his family and loved ones."

T-Hood was known for songs such as Ready 2 Go, Big Booty and Perculator. His projects also included Girls in the Party, Yellow Xan, 6 Shades of Z, Red Kush, No Problems (feat. Bear1boss) and Whisper, among many others.
