‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ cinematographer injured in paragliding crash in Himachal

British cinematographer George Richmond, best known for his work on Deadpool & Wolverine (2024) and the Kingsman franchise, sustained serious neck injuries after a paragliding accident in Himachal Pradesh's Kullu district on June 8.

Richmond, 54, was rescued by local authorities with assistance from the Indian Air Force and was first airlifted to Kullu for treatment.

He was later shifted to Chandigarh's Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), where he successfully underwent surgery on Thursday. Richmond is currently recovering following the medical procedure.
