BLACKPINK members Jennie, Jisoo and Lisa are keeping fans busy with a fresh wave of solo music announcements. The three K-pop stars have unveiled details of their upcoming individual projects within a short span of each other, creating excitement among BLINKs and marking another major chapter in their solo careers.
Jennie was the first to announce her new project. The singer revealed that she will release a three-track EP titled Fallen Angel on August 28. The project will feature the songs "Fallen Angel", "Heaven" and "Less Than a Lover". The EP is being released through Jennie's own label, Odd Atelier, in collaboration with Columbia Records.
Jennie has also unveiled a teaser for the title track, giving fans a glimpse of the visual direction of her upcoming era. The project follows her 2025 solo debut album Ruby and signals another step in her journey of establishing her identity beyond BLACKPINK.
Soon after Jennie's announcement, Jisoo revealed details of her own upcoming solo music. The singer announced a new single titled "CLICK", which is scheduled to arrive on September 4. A teaser shared ahead of the release has already sparked curiosity among fans, with the visuals offering an intriguing preview of Jisoo's next musical chapter.
The track is expected to serve as a preview of Jisoo's first full-length solo studio album. While further details about the album, including its title and complete tracklist, are yet to be revealed, the new single will allow Jisoo to continue exploring her individual musical identity.
Lisa also joined the solo comeback wave with the surprise announcement of her upcoming EP, PRESS PLAY. The project is set to be released on October 23, while its lead single "SaWaDiKa" will arrive earlier, on September 3. The title draws inspiration from the Thai greeting "sawatdee ka", reflecting Lisa's connection to her Thai heritage.
The announcements have created an unusual overlap in the solo schedules of the BLACKPINK members. Jennie's Fallen Angel arrives on August 28, followed by Jisoo's "CLICK" on September 4 and Lisa's "SaWaDiKa" on September 3. Their closely timed releases have prompted fans to celebrate what appears to be another solo era for the group's members.
BLACKPINK had already reunited earlier this year for their group project Deadline, released on February 27. The mini album marked their first collective release since 2022's Born Pink.
With Jennie, Jisoo and Lisa now preparing fresh solo material, fans can expect plenty of new music, teasers and promotional content from the trio in the coming weeks.
