Jatadhara makers drop a new trailer of Sonakshi Sinha, Sudheer Babu's film ahead of release

Ahead of its November 7 release date, the makers of Jatadhara have now launched a brand new trailer of the film. Additionally, the makers also recently revealed that they performed real tantric rituals and chanted mantras during the shoot

Sonakshi Sinha and Sudheer Babu's Jatadhara has been creating a lot of buzz among the masses. Following the love and response to the first trailer, the makers have now dropped the new trailer of the upcoming film two days prior to the grand theatrical release, while also announcing the start of advance booking.

The new trailer includes high action, goosebump-inducing visuals, divinity, mythologically driven drama, emotions, and the intense Sudheer Babu. It also features the menacing Sonakshi Sinha, who is set to surprise with her performance as Dhana Pisaachi, while making her Telugu debut. The trailer gives audience an insight into the scale of the film.

Speaking about the trailer, Sudheer Babu stated, "Jatadhara is not just a film, it's an experience that goes beyond imagination. The scale, the vision, the authenticity with which the entire team has built this world is extraordinary. Every frame felt alive with energy. As an actor, to be part of something so spiritually intense yet visually massive has been truly transformative. This is a film that will make audiences feel the power of devotion and destiny on the big screen."

The film is helmed by Venkat Kalyan and Abhishek Jaiswal, and stars Sudheer Babu and Sonakshi Sinha in lead roles. It is an action-packed epic that brings together Indian mythology with explosive spectacle. The film is set to hit the theatres on November 7, 2025, in Hindi and Telugu.

The film includes an ensemble cast featuring Divya Khossla in a cameo along with Shilpa Shirodkar, Indira Krishna, Ravi Prakash, Naveen Neni, Rohit Pathak, Jhansi, Rajeev Kanakala, and Subhalekha Sudhakar.

Jatadhara makers performed real tantric rituals

Meanwhile, while sharing a behind-the-scenes story, the makers recently said that the team performed actual Tantric rituals and chanted authentic mantras during the filming of a pivotal sequence in order to make the sequence look spiritually charged. Additionally, the Jatadhara production team conducted extensive research and consulted practising Tantriks to ensure cultural and ritual accuracy.

The cast and crew revealed that the atmosphere on the filming days was unlike a typical film shoot. Special measures were taken to maintain respect and sensitivity for the traditions being shown. Additionally, the rituals were supervised by experienced practitioners while being carried out with care for the safety and comfort of everyone on sets.
