It's double joy for actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu as her film Maa Inti Bangaaram became the first Telugu female-led film to earn over Rs 100 crore while she is expecting her first child. The actress recently opened up about motherhood, calling it a dream she has waited for over the years. Samantha also shared that she is looking forward to the journey with gratitude.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Samantha got candid about embracing motherhood and said, "It's definitely new and exciting. But I've been waiting for this moment for a while now. I've always wanted to be a mother. So I know that I'll be giving this my all."
"I've always been passionate about everything in life. But now I feel I carry a different, new kind of strength and purpose in me. I'm looking forward to this journey a lot. And I'm filled with gratitude, learning every day, and getting ready to embrace whatever comes next," she added.
To note, Samantha expressed her excitement a few days back by flaunting her baby bump. "My six pack. I'll see you when I see you. (sic)," read the text on her Instagram Story.
Samantha recently confirmed that she is expecting her first child with her filmmaker husband, Raj Nidimoru. Addressing the media during the success meet of her latest release, Maa Inti Bangaaram, Samantha revealed that she will be taking a maternity break after wrapping up her present professional commitments.
"After Maa Inti Bangaaram, I will have to take a small break, given my condition. I'll have to take maternity leave. After that, I'll be back with another film for my fans," Samantha was heard saying during the event.
Speculation around Samantha's pregnancy started doing the rounds after her appearance at the success celebration of Maa Inti Bangaaram. Netizens noticed Samantha's baby bump after the Kushi actress made an appearance in a fitted white bodycon top paired with blue denim.
For those who do not know, Samantha tied the knot with filmmaker Raj Nidimoru in December last year. This is Samantha's second marriage. She was previously married to actor Naga Chaitanya. They tied the knot in October 2017 after dating for some time. However, the two announced their separation in October 2021.
