Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay’s final film has been awaiting release for almost six months now. As fans are counting days before the film finally hits the screens, the film recently completed its pending certification. The Central Board of Film Certification finally gave the film a green signal after months of delay, passing it with an 'A' certificate.

Jana Nayagan re-censored

According to reports, the film is set to release internationally on July 24 and will arrive early in India on July 23. However, the dates are yet to be officially announced by the makers. Earlier, CBFC had cleared Jana Nayagan with a runtime of 183.11 minutes. However, the film was re-censored on July 13, and the CBFC has issued a new certificate with the revised runtime, as per a Cinema Express report.
