Actor Vijay Devrakonda has been facing health issues, owing to which he has now been admitted to the hospital. The actor has reportedly been diagnosed with dengue. Notably, the news of his hospitalisation comes just weeks ahead of the release of his much-awaited film, Kingdom.
Actor Vijay Deverakonda has reportedly been hospitalised after being diagnosed with dengue recently. He is believed to be under medical care and is expected to be discharged in a few days. Meanwhile, his family is by his side during his hospital stay, providing support for the actor to get well soon. The hospitalisation implies that he will probably continue to be monitored by doctors for two more days.
Notably, neither the actor nor his team have made an official statement about his condition. Besides, the specific hospital where he is receiving treatment has also not been made public, leading to concern among his fans. The health setback comes amid the buzz of the anticipated release of his new film, Kingdom. As Deverakonda continues to get better, the film's team continues to prepare for its forthcoming release.
Kingdom is directed by Gautham Tinnanuri and is an action film is set against the backdrop of the post-Independence Sinhala-Tamil conflict. The film delves into the refugee crisis resulting from the historical tensions in the region. Interestingly, the film was initially planned to be released on May 30, however, it faced delays, pushing the release to July 4, and later further to July 31.
Earlier, the film's release delays were believed to be the heightened tensions between India and Pakistan, following the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22. Nevertheless, despite the challenges and delays, the anticipation for Kingdom remains high among fans. Apart from Vijay, the film also stars Bhagyashree Borse and Satyadev in significant roles. The film is made on a staggering budget of Rs 100 crores, is slated to hit theatres on July 31.
