Himanshi Khurana has responded to Asim Riaz's recent clarification about their past relationship and religious differences. While Asim denied asking her to change her religion and urged people not to use religion as a weapon, Himanshi hit back, saying she is ready to share facts and evidence and will no longer remain silent if she is disrespected.
Himanshi has reacted to Asim's clarification on their breakup and said, "I have always been respectful and mindful while sharing my personal journey publicly... whether it was my Bigg Boss experience, my spiritual journey, or matters concerning my health. I shared these aspects of my life with honesty and never used them as an excuse to disrespect or target anyone. I never said âforceful conversion' was there. People and media set that narrative."
She went on to warn about sharing proofs and stated, "However, when my health is mocked and my struggles are questioned, I believe it is time to draw a line. If we are going to talk about proofs, then let's talk about everything. I am prepared to share the facts and evidence (CCTV footage, recordings... hope you remember that early morning of 27.11.23) surrounding the conversion-related matter and, yes, the violence I suffered."
Himanshi Khurana said she will no longer stay silent if her image is tarnished or she continues to be disrespected. She stressed that she has maintained her dignity and is ready to discuss the matter openly with facts, accountability and evidence. She also questioned why she should not be allowed to share her personal journey and experiences like others do.
She continued, "People from different production houses and channels covered your shit, but I am not like them now. If you want to play the âproof' game, then let's play it honestly - with facts, accountability, and the complete truth."
Actor-model Asim Riaz has hit back at his former girlfriend Himanshi Khurana amid the ongoing discussion around their past relationship and religious differences. The former Bigg Boss contestant stated that he never asked anyone to change their religion and claimed that he was the one who pushed her towards fitness. He said, "So please, don't use religion as a weapon. It's a deeply sensitive subject, and turning something so personal into a reason for people to hate me is immature and only shows how low you're willing to go for attention."
Asim's post comes days after Himanshi appeared on Paras Chhabra's podcast and spoke at length about her past relationship without taking Asim's name. During the conversation, she discussed the religious differences that had affected her former relationship and alleged her then partner had spoken to her about his religion and wanted her to understand and accept it. She said she did not want to do so because she felt it would amount to betraying her own faith. Himanshi also recalled reaching a point where she wondered whether she would be "cremated or buried" if she accepted another faith.
For the uninitiated, Himanshi and Asim met during Bigg Boss 13, where their bond gradually developed into a romantic relationship. The couple continued their relationship after the show and dated for around four years. They announced their separation in December 2023.
