The latest track sees Madhavi Bhide facing action over her homemade pickle business, with the plot drawing comparisons to Maharashtra FDA Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe's ongoing crackdown on food safety violations.
In the viral precap, two FDA officials arrive at the Bhide residence and inform Madhavi that glass has allegedly been found in her lemon-chilli pickle. The officials further tell her that her licence has been revoked and ask her to visit their office if she wants an explanation. The development leaves Madhavi and Bhide shocked, particularly because their homemade pickles and papads are an important source of their livelihood.
The storyline comes at a time when Maharashtra's FDA has been carrying out an enforcement drive against food safety violations under Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe. According to the report, Mundhe took charge in May 2026 and has since directed more than 3,100 inspections across Maharashtra. The inspections have reportedly resulted in 165 licences being suspended and more than 700 improvement notices being issued.
