In the recent episode of Wheel of Fortune, during a candid and nostalgic moment, Akshay Kumar shared his preference for old-school, offline shopping over the convenience of online platforms.

Akshay Kumar says he prefers offline shopping

While interacting with contestants Ishanjali from Bangalore, Arjun from Pune, and Kiara from Jaipur, Akshay revealed that he truly enjoys stepping out, exploring markets, and visiting stores in person rather than shopping virtually. For him, shopping is not just about buying something; it's about the experience.

Akshay explained that he loves going from shop to shop and feeling the fabric of clothes personally before making a purchase. The tactile connection, he said, makes all the difference and adds a personal touch that online shopping simply cannot replicate.

Smiling as he relived those moments, Akshay said, "Online shopping se toh main kehta hoon ki woh din kamaal ke the." He added that there was something special about stepping out, standing in front of a shop, making your own choices, and even enjoying small treats like langori along the way.

Through his heartfelt recollection, Akshay beautifully reminded everyone that beyond convenience, it is the experiences, human connections, and simple joys that truly make memories unforgettable.

Akshay says his dad watched all his films 18-20 times

While conversing with the cast and director of the Gujarati film Laalo - Krishna Sada Sahaayate, Akshay grew visibly moved by their inspiring journey of making a movie despite having no money, armed with nothing but an unshakable belief in each other. He noted that the kind of history created by the film, becoming the first Gujarati movie to cross Rs 100 crore, is a rare miracle that happens when heart meets hard work.

In a deeply personal moment, Akshay narrated a cherished memory from his early days in the industry. He said, "Main aapko ek baat batana chahta hoon ki yeh cheez aur mere mein kya common hain." He recalled, "Mere father, jab tak woh zinda the, unki death 2000 mein huyi thi. Tab tak mere jo bhi films release hoti thi, woh logon ko pakad pakad kar le jaate the aur meri film unhe dikhate the. Har film unhone mere 18 se 20 baar dekhi hogi." This was proof of a father's unconditional love.
