Comedian Samay Raina returned with the latest season of India's Got Latent just two months ago and the show has become a major topic of discussion online ever since. On Thursday, Netflix released the promo clip of the upcoming episode of India's Got Latent 2, featuring Varun Dhawan and other special guests as one of the panellists.
In the clip, Varun is asking the contestant to do whatever he wants. The actor said, "Main acting kar sakta hoon." Then, panellist Nishant Tanwar took a hilarious dig at Varun's acting, saying, "Are tu to kar lega par..." while pointing towards the actor, seemingly indicating that Varun would not be able to pull off the act. His remark left everyone, including Varun, in splits. Varun then asked the audience to wait while inviting Samay Raina on stage. "Tu aa ja," he said. Samay quickly responded, "Arre, main nahi bola tha yaar, maine thodi bola tha wo."
While releasing the promo clip, Netflix India captioned it, "Life's too short to argue; just say and move on."
Varun then asked Samay to act. Samay asked Varun to accompany them, but the actor playfully denied, saying, "Nahi, show tumhara hai. Paise hame mil rahe nahi hain. Paise tumhe banana hai." Later, Samay said, "Sab bante hain ek janwar," before imitating Varun's signature smile. Varun also had a fun laugh and mimicked the same expression, leaving the panel and audience in splits.
India's Got Latent Season 2 episode 6 will be premiered on Friday, September 4, 2026, at 8 pm on Netflix. The episode will feature Medha Shankr, Varun Dhawan, Nishant Tanwar and Sharon Verma as panellists, with Samay Raina as the usual host.
On the acting front, Varun was last seen in Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. The film also starred Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde in lead roles. The actor reunited with his father, director David Dhawan, after a long gap.
