After days of fans seeing the familiar Linkin Park band logo on hoardings on the streets of Bengaluru, wondering if they are playing in the city, the rumours are true. The American rock band will be performing in the tech city after their performance at Lollapalooza India 2026 in Mumbai.
Linkin Park has announced a special standalone show in Bengaluru at Brigade Innovation Gardens on January 23 in 2026, on their 'From Zero World Tour.' The special guests in the form of the opening act for the performance will be India's very own Bloodywood that have established themselves not only in the country but around the world.
The announcement is fuelled by an overwhelming wave of love and messages from fans asking the band to perform in their cities, the band wanted to make their first-ever visit to India even more special. Following their monumental comeback and the record-breaking response to their Lollapalooza India 2026 announcement earlier this year, the band is answering the call from thousands of fans across the country, expanding their India debut into a two-city experience.
"This past year on the From Zero World Tour has been incredible," says Mike Shinoda. "When we announced Lollapalooza India, the warmth and excitement from fans was overwhelming, and we decided that one show just wasn't enough. We're thrilled to bring the tour to both Bengaluru and Mumbai on our first-ever trip to India."
Visiting India on their world tour, the fact that they are playing not one but two shows will make many fans happy. While the initial announcement of them performing at the two-day music festival, produced and promoted by BookMyShow Live, saw many fans getting excited, others were sad they aren't performing in other cities but that has clearly been fulfilled by the American band known to produce some of the biggest hits.
The band that formed in 1996 has a large fanbase in the country, having grown up to hits such as 'Numb' among others. Both performances will celebrate their chart-topping new album 'From Zero', which debuted at Number 1 in 14 countries, bringing the band's unmistakable energy and emotion to a brand-new stage in India.
The band will perform both new hits like âThe Emptiness Machine' and âHeavy Is the Crown' as well as iconic anthems such as âIn The End' and âNumb'. Following the release of âHeavy Is The Crown', the official League of Legends World Championship anthem and their first collaboration with Riot Games, Linkin Park reasserted their position as one of rock's defining voices. The song's hard-hitting rhythm and anthemic energy embody the bold, renewed spirit of the band, resonating with fans across the globe and paving the way for From Zero.
The announcement from Linkin Park comes at the best time as they received two Grammy nominations on November 7 for Best Rock Album (From Zero) and Best Rock Performance (The Emptiness Machine).
