David Guetta has been named as ‘World’s No 1 DJ’ 2025, beats Martin Garrix, Alok to the top

World-renowned French DJ David Guetta has been named as the ‘World's No 1 DJ' in DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs list of 2025, after the results rom the polls were declared earlier this October at the event held in Ibiza. Martin Garrix, Alok, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, and Armin Van Burren complete the Top 5 of the list.

The music producer takes back the crown, after dominating the top of the list in 2023, 2021 and 2020, and 2011 before that. It also makes him only the third person to win it five times apart from the likes of Dutch DJs Martin Garrix and Armin Van Buuren.

While he started out in 1984, Guetta released his first album ‘Just A Little More Love' in 2002, and has over time released six other albums including ‘Guetta Blaster' (2004), ‘Pop Life' (2007), ‘One Love' (2009), ‘Nothing But The Beat' (2011), ‘Listen' (2014) and ‘7' (2018), while also releasing many singles during this time, many of which were also collaborations. The Frenchman has even won two Grammy Awards among other accolades. Some of his biggest hits include ‘I'm Good (Blue)', ‘Titanium' and ‘Sexy Bitch' among others.

Interestingly, David Guetta is all set to be a headliner at Sunburn 2025 that is set to take place in Mumbai after being held in Goa for 17 years. He will be joined by newly crowned ‘World No 1 Hard DJ' Sara Landry.
