Guns N' Roses fan Zeet Bora flew in from Assam on May 15 morning, and by afternoon his day was made even before he attended the concert at Mahalaxmi Racecourse in Mumbai.
Sitting at Leopold Cafe in Mumbai, Bora was in for a surprise when he saw GnR's band members including Slash sit at the table just right next to him. Speaking to mid-day, he shares, "We actually landed in Mumbai this morning just for this concert. It was so random - I was having lunch with my friend at a café when Slash and his band members walked in. They sat at the table next to ours."
Imagine the feeling of not only seeing your favourite band but also your band member just sitting next to you. "We waited for an hour to take a photo with him. He was so friendly, and I told him it felt like a dream to meet him in person."

Zeet, who was with his friend Debobrat Buragohain, said they didn't want to disturb him as he was having a private time. He further shares, "So, we waited till he got done and was about to leave. That's when we approached him for a picture and had a chat."
The 29-year-old digital marketer is absolutely excited for the concert, just like many others in the city. "I was 10 years old when my uncle introduced me to Slash. I still remember a big poster of him in my uncle's bedroom. He is no longer with us, but on his behalf, I'm fulfilling his dream," concludes Bora, who reveals his favourite song is November Rain.
American rock band Guns N' Roses will perform in Mumbai at Mahalaxmi Racecourse on May 17 more than 12 years after they performed in the city at MMRDA grounds in Bandra Kurla Complex in December 2012.
While many fans like Bora and Buragohain are ready for the performance, expect them to play some of the greatest hits like 'Paradise City', 'Welcome to the Jungle', 'Patience', 'Sweet Child O' Mine', 'Knocking On Heavens Door' and 'Don't Cry', apart from 'November Rain', which is also a crowd-favourite among Indian fans.
