The doors of the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple will remain open for <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/lifestyle/culture/photo/in-photos-from-punjab-to-mumbai-preparations-for-diwali-2026-begin-across-india-113883" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">devotees on Diwali</a> and Dhanteras, and online ticket booking for darshan will also continue, a temple official said on Tuesday.
However, all ticket categories will remain suspended after the Shringar Bhog Aarti on the afternoon of November 9 until the evening Saptarishi Aarti on November 10.
Shambhu Sharan, SDM of the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, said devotees will be able to visit the temple <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/lifestyle/culture/article/diwali-in-singapore-little-india-lights-up-as-diaspora-prepares-for-festival-of-lights-23657365" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">during Diwali and Dhanteras</a> as usual, including through online ticket bookings.
He clarified that the suspension of ticket bookings would be limited to the specified period to facilitate 'Annakoot' festival-related arrangements.
All other <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/lifestyle/culture/article/diwali-fervour-grips-new-york-city-with-celebrations-of-indian-culture-culinary-heritage-23657351" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">arrangements and services</a> at the temple will continue as usual on the remaining days, he added.
