The Central Railway on Thursday announced that Mohope Railway Station on the Panvel-Karjat line in Maharashtra was renamed as Poyanje and the new station code will now be PYJE.
The change follows a decision by the Government of Maharashtra.

All railway records, station signage, announcements, and passenger information systems was being updated with the new name of the railway station, officials said.
"Passengers and the public are advised to take note of the change," said an official.
The renaming marks the second railway station in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region to be renamed within a week.
Earlier, the Seawoods-Darave station was renamed Seawoods-Darave-Karave station by railway authorities.
