Meanwhile, a BEST bus caught fire at Santacruz depot in the early hours of Wednesday when it was being taken for refuelling after repairing a faulty clutch, officials said, adding that nobody was injured.

This is the third bus fire since the beginning of this week. Earlier, two parked buses of the Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) undertaking were gutted in separate incidents at Pratiksha Nagar depot.
