On August 23, mid-day had reported how traffic snarls, potholes and illegal parking choke the ward. While corporators claim to have attended to a number of complaints, the ground reality offers a different picture.
The Eastern Express Highway, the Ghatkopar junction and the road near R-City mall still have traffic bottlenecks, which are a leading cause of accidents. The stretch of road between R-City and Shreyas signal, too, remains jam-packed. In spite of having parcels of land on hand, the BMC still hasn't allotted parking spaces in Ghatkopar East.
