The Hon. Chief Justice of the Bombay HC, Shree Chandrashekhar, said, "This is a important, historical occasion. It is historical because it takes us to history. The Law Library is not a simple place. It has been formed by leaders of the bar. Today, young stars and legends, both are here. Just by sitting here, youngsters will learn a lot. This is a place where young members can evolve just by looking at the portraits. They can even learn the art of advocacy and conduct in court."

Siddharth S Chandrashekhar, advocate, HCLL Committee member,
‘The library committee had approached an expert art restorer. The picture and the frames have been restored'

Anita Shekhar Castellino, advocate, ex-HCLL Committee member,
‘The pictures and the frame around it looked worn out. It was time for a face lift. After all, we have repairs and restoration to buildings, roofs, walls, and flooring; why not an upgrade to what we put on the walls too? The pictures have certainly come alive with this restoration. These luminaries who shine bright in our legal landscape deserve to be celebrated. These portraits tell us so many stories - those of courage, truth, and justice and, most importantly, the long arm of the law'. The committee members were led by HCLL President Hon'ble Justice GS Kulkarni.
