Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke confronted a police sub-inspector (PSI) deployed as part of the security detail at his home in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, alleging that the officer was preventing people from meeting him and behaving rudely with visitors.

Dipke sought the removal of the officer from security duty at his residence in the Waluj MIDC area of the central Maharashtra city. He alleged that the PSI was trying to restrict and monitor people entering his home.

Dipke objects to police officer restricting visitors

Dipke, who was provided security following threats and to manage the crowd at his residence, confronted the PSI in one of two videos that went viral on social media platforms on Friday.

In the video, Dipke is seen questioning the officer, who was dressed in civilian clothes, over his alleged attempts to prevent people from entering the house.

"What is the problem in allowing people to come into my home when I am asking them to come in? Why are you behaving like the Delhi police? No problem has occurred till today. I am seeing you for the first time. You (police) will not tell me whom I should meet and whom I should not meet," Dipke is heard telling the PSI.

"You please go out, I don't want you in my house," the 30-year-old activist told the PSI, whom he identified only as Suresh.

The video shows Dipke reprimanding the officer and objecting to his presence inside the residence. He also sought his removal from the security team deployed at his home.

CJP leader complains to senior police official

In another video, Dipke is seen speaking to a senior police official over the phone and complaining about the PSI's conduct.

"A PSI named Suresh has come here, and he is very rude to people coming to meet me. He is telling people to go out. Is this being done deliberately? I don't want him; remove him from here," the Cockroach Janta Party founder is heard telling the police official.

Dipke had been provided security at his residence following threats and amid the presence of people seeking to meet him. He alleged that the PSI was interfering with visitors despite his instructions that they be allowed to enter the house.

The videos show Dipke seeking an immediate change in the personnel assigned to his security detail. The allegations made by him could not be independently verified.

Dipke alleges CID personnel were monitoring his residence

During the same phone conversation with the senior police official, Dipke also alleged that personnel from the state Criminal Investigation Department (CID) were moving around his residence in plainclothes.

"A reporter told me some CID people were spotted near my home. When police tried to remove them, they revealed they were from the CID. The reporter also saw that a WhatsApp group was open on the phone of one of the CID personnel and it was named 'Hit Spray'. The reporter told me they were sending their reports from here," Dipke claimed.

The allegation regarding the presence of CID personnel and the WhatsApp group could not be independently verified.

Abhijeet Dipke also alleged that the personnel were reporting information about activities around his residence through the group. However, no official confirmation was immediately available regarding the identity or activities of the people he referred to as CID personnel.

Police response awaited on allegations

The incident comes amid security arrangements at Dipke's residence, where police personnel have been deployed following threats and to manage visitors.

The videos circulating on social media show Dipke directly confronting the PSI and subsequently raising his concerns with a senior police official.
