Gautam Adani congratulates NDA women cadets, says 'They carry not just dreams but a nation's resolve'

Industrialist Gautam Adani expressed his warm acknowledgement to the first-ever batch of women cadets at the National Defence Academy (NDA), emphasising their success as a benchmark of developing Indian.

His recent post on X, he wrote, "Proof. Precedent. Possibility. Congratulations to all the first women NDA cadets as they start their march forward. They carry not just dreams but a nation's resolve. The path is new. The message is timeless. Jai Hind."

This remarkable achievement was marked on Friday when the first group of 17 women cadets graduated. According to a statement from the Ministry of Defence, these aspirants were part of the 336 cadets who passed out as the 148th Course- Spring Term 2025. According to reports, a total 1,341 Cadets, including 336 who passed the course, participated in the Passing Out Parade (POP) at the historic Khetarpal Parade Ground in Maharashtra's Khadakwasla.

General Dr VK Singh (Retd), Governor of Mizoram graced this occasion as the Reviewing Officer, reported ANI.

This parade symbolised the successful completion of meticulous training and academic training process. It also showcases the precision, discipline, and military bearing. The parade was flawlessly overseen by Adjutant Lt Col Praveen Kumar Tiwari, who led the proceedings while mounted on his horse 'Reliant Robin'. Academy Cadet Captain Udayveer Singh Negi from 'G' Squadron took charge of the parade, displaying remarkable calm and precise military discipline

To honour their outstanding performance, the Reviewing Officer awarded the President's Gold Medal to Battalion Cadet Adjutant Prince Raj, the President's Silver Medal to Academy Cadet Captain Udayveer Singh Negi, and the President's Bronze Medal to Battalion Cadet Captain Tejas Bhatt. Additionally, the Golf Squadron received the esteemed Chiefs of Staff Banner for demonstrating overall excellence.

The ceremony concluded with an impressive air-show by Chetak helicopters, Super Dimona motorised gliders, and the powerful Sukhoi-30 fighter jets. This aerial display marks the successful completion of the cadets training and prepares them to move forward into the next stage of their military careers.

The Spring Term 2025 Passing Out Parade marked the strong display of the Academy's unwavering dedication to shaping the next generation of military leaders. Additionally, the induction of women cadets who are set to serve the nation with pride and courage marked an important stepping stone in development of India.
