Twenty-four Indian seafarers were rescued from the Palau-flagged tanker MT Marivex, struck by US forces with missiles off the south-eastern coast of Oman on June 8, the Indian Coast Guard (ICG) said on Tuesday.
On June 8, the Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre (MRCC) received information about a missile attack on the tanker, while the vessel was anchored off Masirah, Oman.
