A delegation of 88 members from Indira University's School of Business remains temporarily stranded in Dubai after the sudden closure of the UAE airspace disrupted their scheduled return to India from an International Academic and Cultural Immersion programme. They were on a five-day trip to Dubai.

The group, comprising 84 MBA students and four faculty members, is currently accommodated at Savoy Park Hotel in Bur Dubai, where the university has arranged lodging, meals, and on-ground support while monitoring aviation updates. University officials said they are coordinating with authorities and travel agencies to ensure the group can return at the earliest once flight operations resume.

University assurance

In an official statement, the Registrar's office said: "The safety and security of our students and faculty remain our highest priority. All necessary arrangements for stay, food and support are being taken care of."

Students speak

MBA student Bhushan Wagh, in a video message shared with the university, said, "We are safe and secure. The college is bearing all accommodation and food expenses and is in continuous contact with us." Other students confirmed they are comfortable and receiving regular updates from faculty and university officials.
