Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Italy has sparked a meme fest online, with social media users flooding platforms with jokes, AI-generated videos and edited clips centred around his interactions with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.

As both leaders continue discussions under the India-Italy Joint Strategic Action Plan 2025-2029, the internet has shifted its attention to the now-viral "Melodi" trend.

PM Modi shares Italy visit update

During the visit, PM Modi also shared a post on X about his meeting with Meloni in Rome.

"Upon landing in Rome, had the opportunity to meet Prime Minister Meloni over dinner followed by a visit to the iconic Colosseum. We exchanged perspectives on a wide range of subjects. Looking forward to our talks today, where we will continue the conversation on how to boost the India-Italy friendship," he wrote.
