During the visit, Suri enquired about their health and well-being and interacted with the patients.
The Consulate said it had assured them of all possible support and assistance. It did not disclose the number of Indian nationals undergoing treatment.
According to Arab News, two people were injured on Saturday when a projectile launched by Yemen's Houthi movement struck Al-Tuwal governorate in Jazan, the news agency reported.
However, the Indian Consulate has not confirmed whether the Indian nationals being treated in Jeddah were injured in that particular incident.
The lack of confirmation means the exact circumstances surrounding the injuries of the Indian nationals remain unclear.
The incident comes amid heightened tensions in the region following a series of missile and drone attacks by Yemen's Houthis targeting Saudi Arabia's southern areas, as per the PTI.
According to Arab News, Houthi attacks last week targeted civilian and economic facilities in Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan and Najran.
The attacks reportedly injured 73 people, including women and children.
The Indian mission said it would continue to remain in touch with the injured nationals, their families and hospital authorities, according to the PTI.
The latest outreach comes as regional tensions continue to raise security concerns in areas of southern Saudi Arabia.
