Katchatheevu Island Row: S Jaishankar exposes Nehru's approach towards the island

Politics erupted over Katchatheevu island after PM Modi accused Congress of giving the island to Sri Lanka. On April 01, EAM Dr S Jaishankar held a detailed press conference over the Katchatheevu island row. The EAM revealed official facts and also talked about PM Jawaharlal Nehru’s approach towards Katchatheevu island. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said the country`s first Prime Minister wanted to give away the Katchatheevu island to Sri Lanka.
